In 1987, I had the great pleasure of working with David Gilmour and Nick Mason on a national radio show to support "A Momentary Lapse of Reason," their first album without Roger Waters.  They were a little worried that Floyd's massive audience would not accept the band without the man who largely wrote "The Wall."  It turned out they had nothing to worry about as they were welcomed worldwide with open arms. After their massive tour supporting that album, they returned to the studio to record "The Division Bell."
