What is a treason?
Treason is when you sell out your country so you can selfishly profit and get what you want.
That has happened to America in my opinion.
The Russians hated Hillary Clinton because she was the Secretary of State who gathered most of the free world and got a large number of countries to impose sanctions specifically targeted at Vladmir Putin's cronies who were profiting off the misery of Russian citizens. It created more economic hardship in Russia. Which made Putin's popularity drop and create a potential threat to his power. To combat that, Putin invaded another country (Crimea) while trying to disguise the soldier's country of origin by dressing them in black. Nothing like a war to rally nationalism.
He then rightfully blamed Hillary Clinton (while conveniently leaving out the rest of the world who went along with her sanctions). He also clearly wanted Donald Trump to win the presidency of the United States in the 2016 elections.
Despite Vlad's repeated denials, the evidence that WE'VE seen adds up. The go-to Russian attorney who has single-handedly tried to tear down these sanctions is Natalia Veselnitskaya. She is considered the "ultimate Russian insider," who has defended all of Vlad's friends and the Russian government who tried to stop IKEA from expanding in her native country. The man who helped the Donald hold his Miss Universe pageant in Moscow contacted Donald Jr to tell him Natalia had information that would discredit Hillary Clinton & "help his father."
Donald Jr., in his never-ending quest for daddy's approval, was excited that he could help his dad get elected President of the United States. The fact that this information would come from a sworn enemy of the United States did not bother him. The proper reaction would be to notify the FBI and relevant intelligence agencies. That was never considered. If it was an attempt by Russians to influence our Presidential elections, that is wrong and should have been reported to our intelligence agencies. There should not have been denials and "I don't remembers."
If there is nothing to hide, so much the better. I am hoping for the good of our country that that is what happened. If it isn't the truth, we need to know the painful facts.
I wonder what the evidence Special Prosecutor Muller has seen. The good news is that Muller is deliberate and we should have confidence in his findings. I am hoping that this administration did not jettison all morality to get elected and conspire with Russians to get the result the foreign government preferred. The verdict is out on that.
Whatever that verdict is, we need to know as soon as possible.
If the current administration did not violate the law, let them proceed with their agenda and even though I don't support their agenda, they have an absolute right to do that.
On the other hand, if they are found to cheat the American voters and taxpayers, they should be punished to the full extent of the law.
Me personally, I am willing to let the facts of the case do the talking.
I don't like the appearances, but appearances are not facts. Let's see what the special prosecutor determines are the facts.
